2023 Jonesboro Christmas Parade
Santa Float Design Competition Guidelines

 

General Information: 

 

The 2023 Float Design Competition includes the design and building of the 2023 Santa Float that will end the 2023 Christmas Parade.

• To be considered for the competition, designs must follow this year’s theme “A Merry Melody”.

• The FOA will provide a budget of $100 to purchase supplies for building the float. The trailer for the float will be provided by the FOA.

• All designs must be submitted before November 2nd to the FOA Parade Committee. (Design submission begins on October 2nd.) Winners will be announced by the FOA on November 6th.

• The winning design will build the float that will be used in the Jonesboro Parade on December 1, 2023.

• Students are encouraged to attend the event and walk alongside their float with supervision provided by the school/parents.

• All designs must follow all the 2023 Parade Rules and regulations.

• All designs must include a space for Mr. & Mrs. Clause.

• Float Designs should be for an 18’ trailer
